About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant Juarez neighborhood of Ciudad de Mexico, CASA BELL stands out as a refined destination for lovers of both traditional Mexican and German cuisines. This unique fusion restaurant delivers an exquisite culinary experience where authentic flavors meet careful craftsmanship, all within a charming and inviting ambiance. Located just off Reforma Avenue and near iconic landmarks like Angel de la Independencia, CASA BELL offers an accessible yet exclusive setting, ideal for everything from a leisurely lunch to an intimate dinner.

The menu reads like a curated journey through Mexico’s rich culinary heritage, beautifully blending with subtle German influences. Signature dishes like Filete Chemita, Chile en Nogada, and the irresistible Mole Poblano showcase the passion and depth behind each creation. For seafood aficionados, specialties such as Camarones Al Ajillo, Pulpos A La Talla, and the luxurious Callo de Hacha promise fresh, vibrant bites that tease the palate with textures that range from tender to delightfully crisp.

If you appreciate complex layering of flavors, the Pato Bell (duck) and Aguacate Relleno (stuffed avocado) are unequivocal highlights, each dish delivering a perfect balance of richness and freshness. The grilled artichoke, praised by regulars, is a sensory triumph—a tender, smoky delight that leaves a memorable impression. The dessert menu, featuring options like Strudel de Manzana and Pay de Higo, wraps up your meal with subtle sweetness and comforting warmth.

Complementing the food is a well-thought-out beverage selection, including skillfully prepared cocktails like the classic Negroni and carefully chosen wines that pair elegantly with offerings such as the Ate Con Queso Maridado Con Vino Tinto. For beer lovers, the Modelo Cerveza serves perfectly chilled refreshment, rounding out the dining experience with ease.

The atmosphere at CASA BELL is one of understated sophistication, featuring a lovely covered outdoor seating area that invites diners to unwind amidst a warm, relaxing environment. Regular guests describe the vibe as perfect for meaningful conversations and long, leisurely meals. Indeed, this is a space where culinary traditions feel alive and conversations flow freely.

While some visitors note the restaurant could benefit from a design refresh to elevate its already beautiful patio, the quality of the food and attentive service remain consistently high. Whether you’re savoring the comforting simplicity of tacos de pato or exploring adventurous dishes like escamoles, the portions are just right — generous enough to satisfy without overwhelming, fostering an approachable yet memorable dining experience.

In essence, CASA BELL is more than just a restaurant; it is a heartfelt homage to Mexican culinary artistry nestled within a cosmopolitan setting. It invites you not only to taste but to savor the spirit of Mexico’s diverse flavors in a place that feels both timeless and welcoming. For those seeking a thoughtful blend of tradition, quality ingredients, and a pleasant atmosphere, CASA BELL delivers with grace and authenticity.

Food and service as good as it has always been. The place is in urgent need of some technical der live and care. Age is showing. Strongly recommend they bring in a designer and work on uplifting the beautiful patio.

You will enjoy this place for sure. Located near Reforma and Angel de la Independencia, with a nice atmosphere and great menu. Order some seafood such as huachinango or camarones al ajillo. The grilled artichoke is fantastic.

Food was great and so was service. The only problem is all the smoking in the patio area. If you dont like smoke you will have to sit inside which has different ambience.
